📔 Tales from the Pocket

Whispered observations from the deep seam of a linen jacket

Day 1: The Train Platform

I've been stuffed here since dawn, pressed against a crumpled receipt and a single forgotten mint. My person just boarded a train heading somewhere coastal. The platform smells like coffee and salt. I'm excited.

Day 3: A Harbor Town

Seagulls. So many seagulls. A stray napkin joined me briefly—we shared stories about the fish market. Now it's just me again, growing soft from the sea air. Lovely though.

Day 5: Mountain Thoughts

We climbed today. My person's breathing was heavy, their hand sometimes resting on the jacket. I felt the cool alpine breeze, smelled pine and stone. For a moment, I felt part of something bigger than lint and loose change.

Day 7: Coming Home

The journey ends tomorrow. I've collected so much—memories, dust, the faint perfume of somewhere else. But I'm ready to settle back into stillness, holding these whispers close. What a lovely adventure this was.
